Biography

With a Doctoral Degree (PhD) in Marine Science from University of the Philippines, Diliman, Quezon City. Done extensive survey on the diversity of fish fauna across reef types including their abundances and size ranges. Provides technical assistance to Local Government Units for the management of their coastal resources through monitoring of their marine protected areas or fish sanctuaries.

Research interest is on taxonomy, population biology, community ecology and biogeography of reef fishes particularly in Sulu-Sulawesi Marine Ecoregion.
